Leading a Team of Expert Sorority Rush Mentors

Hi, I'm Trisha Addicks, founder of It's All Greek to Me. I lead a team of experienced sorority rush mentors who work directly with students navigating the sorority recruitment process. With decades of Greek life knowledge and a personal understanding of both success and setbacks in rush, I've built a comprehensive mentorship program that prepares students for confident, successful recruitment experiences.

My Sorority Recruitment Journey

Originally from Charlotte, NC, I moved to Georgia in 1986 to attend the University of Georgia. Like many students, I arrived on campus excited about Greek life but completely unprepared for the intensity of sorority rush week.

Coming from North Carolina, I knew nothing about sorority reputations or the recruitment process. My first rush experience ended in heartbreak—I didn't receive a bid. While other girls celebrated bid night with their new sisters, I spent the evening devastated, wondering what went wrong.

But I didn't give up. The following summer, I went through sorority recruitment again—this time prepared and informed. I pledged my first-choice sorority and made lifelong friendships that continue today.

This personal experience taught me invaluable lessons about sorority rush preparation, resilience, and the importance of having proper guidance through the Greek recruitment process.

Why I Started It's All Greek to Me

My passion for helping young people comes naturally—my father was a pediatrician, and I've always connected deeply with teens and college students. After years as a child and family photographer, I realized I could combine my love for young people with my Greek life expertise to create a business that helps students avoid the mistakes I made.

As founder, I built It's All Greek to Me on the foundation of my personal sorority experience. Together with Co-Directors Caroline Bell and Caroline Clawson, who lead our mentor team, we've created a comprehensive support system for students preparing for sorority recruitment. Our expert sorority rush mentors work directly with students, providing:

• One-on-one sorority rush coaching

• Personalized college recruitment preparation

• Guidance through every step of the Greek life process

• Support for making the transition from high school to college easier

My role is to support Caroline, Caroline, and our mentors with the knowledge, resources, and strategies that come from decades of understanding Greek life. I understand how challenging the journey from home to college can be, and together we've created a system to ensure no student faces sorority recruitment feeling as unprepared and alone as I once did.

About My Life Today

I'm married to a wonderful husband and proud mother of two amazing sons and a lovely daughter-in-law. As empty nesters, my husband and I split our time between our homes in Historic Brookhaven and Sea Island, Georgia.
